Are phone numbers pre-scrubbed against the DNC?

ProspectNow phone numbers are not scrubbed against the Do Not Call registry. You can choose to have the numbers scrubbed by providing a SAN.

Updated over a year ago

By default, our phone numbers are NOT flagged for the DNC list. However, ProspectNow can flag the numbers on the DNC registry if you provide us your Subscription Account Number (SAN).

Obtaining a SAN is required if you plan to call consumer numbers, and it’s actually quite easy to setup.

TO REGISTER FOR A SUBSCRIPTION ACCOUNT NUMBER (SAN):

  1. Complete all information with RED asterisks *.

  2. Click – Organization Function- must check TM/SP (TM/telemarketer) with Independent Access

  3. Click on "Submit" box at bottom of page.

  4. Click on "Create Profile" box at bottom of page.

  5. Click on "Certify" box at bottom of page.

  6. PRINT THIS PAGE OF I.D.’s AND PASSWORDS FOR YOUR RECORDS.

  7. Click on "Subscribe and Pay" box (you only need to pay if you select more than 5 area codes to prospect in)

  8. Enter your 5 free selected area codes in which you will be prospecting

  9. PRINT THIS PAGE OF SAN AND AREA CODES!

After you have a SAN, login to ProspectNow and under ‘My Account’ -> ‘DNC Settings’ and submit your SAN.

Once it’s approved, you will then be able to see if a number is on the DNC list.

Remember, lawful use of ProspectNow is a requirement to access the service. The Do Not Call registry is constantly changing and while we use best efforts to ensure we are up to date, ultimately you are responsible for compliance.
